Market gaped lower and did a classic close-the-opening-gap move followed by testing the waters below the 880 support for about two hours before snapping back to a very tight range trade around the 880 support level. Volume was dismal.

Similar day as yesterday but reversing the price movement. S&P 500 opened flat and was improving until the Consumer Confidence data came out well short of consensus and price took a dive to camp for the rest of the day below S1. Market gaped lower and was moving to close the gap when the Consumer Confidence number came out at 10:00am and basically sparked a large rally.
